"Reframing and Thought Patterns"
Something that I stay aware of and practice at different points in time, is how I'm processing information. Analyzing how my thoughts can dictate my actions has helped me to see the importance of the scripts (my own thoughts that decide how I live) that I'm listening to. There is a potential positive force in reframing past events to help free your present self to achieve something new as well.
The psychology of an artist is a unique one because an artist creates some works that are "new" or synthesized ideas that have to be thought up of from a meditative space in the mind. Artists make connections from one idea to another and combine them to create something new. Artists operate like our brains work, making connections and looking for new connections. If an artist gets "stuck" on how to go about creating something new, they should search out different images or ideas that will inspire them to create an original work of art. Staying self-motivated is necessary and we need to have a script in our minds that keeps us actively in pursuit of the ideas that will move us forward.
Staying positive with thoughts of the future and working towards making progress everyday will help to maintain a career in the arts. There are many challenging situations that artists find themselves in, but if they keep trying, something always happens to get them through to the next phase of a projects or desired outcome. It's helpful if we are able to impress ourselves with what we are able to achieve because it instills self-confidence and the want to know what else you can do.
If a thought is not helpful or productive, we have the right to challenge it & ask ourselves if it is really true or can there be another way. Like I mentioned earlier, reframing a past event is powerful and can liberate us in the present moment and for the future. Also, challenging beliefs about what is possible and working it out in your mind is a good exercise for our brains and should be thought of periodically.
Taking the time to construct your reality is beneficial for you and the individuals that care about you. It forces you to be in alignment with your destiny and the outcome of achieving different goals and habits that keep you balanced throughout the day brings more peaceful experiences during your time. The practice and patience it takes with molding your mind to live at a certain standard is well worth the efforts. I encourage you to keep going and to surprise yourself with the changes and new helpful thought scripts that you implement into your daily life.
